Donatella Versace once again demonstrated her support for the LGBT community. As part of the “month of pride”, the brand launched a capsule collection in limited quantities Versace X Pride 2020. The exclusive line includes sportswear, swimwear, underwear, as well as all kinds of accessories – hats, socks, bracelets, and much more. All items from the special collection are made in black and decorated with the colors of the rainbow and the Versace logo.
Part of the proceeds from the sale of the collection both in boutiques and on-line will be donated to two charities aimed at creating an inclusive environment and equality in society. In the United States, the proceeds from the sale of the collection will be donated to the non-profit organization Pride Live, and in Europe to the Italian LGBT institution Arcigay. The collection will be available from June in Versace stores, as well as on the brand’s official website.
“I have always been a supporter of LGBT societies and their rights”, said Donatella Versace last year on the occasion of her appointment as ambassador to Stonewall. “We should stop hatred and discrimination in order to create a society that accepts diversity that treats everyone equally and is inclusive”, added she.
